I won this nice little lightning connector from an online quiz. Bluelounge Kii is basically a lightning connector to charge (or sync) our iPhone/iPad. The unique part is its design. As the name suggests, Bluelounge Kii is designed to look like a key, so we can put it together with our other keys and always bring it everywhere.
BlueLouge Kii main unit is a 4 cm USB “cable” with lightning connector. Together with its cap, the total length is a little over 7 cm. There’s a switch at the back of its “head” to remove the bottom part and use it as lightning connector.
The lightning connector is MFi certified. I have tested the lightning connector and it doesn’t show the usual warning message when we use non-certified accessory. It comes with a key ring and a rubber key-tag, which looks nice, but serves little purpose for me as I will just put the Kii unit with my other keys.
Overall, it’s a nice little lightning connector. It costs $19 in the US, but cost $45 in Australia. Honestly I wouldn’t choose this if I have to pay the price. However, since I got this for free, I have nothing to complain about and will use it happily.
