Tofu Traveller is an interesting product to solve a problem I didn’t know I had. This product started as a Kickstarter project back in August 2017. The aim was to solve problem with storing different country plugs for frequent travelers, or for anyone who needs to carry more than 1 plugs on a regular basis.

It is a fair expectation to assume that all Apple users know that most of their chargers can be used in different countries by replacing the plug. Carrying different plugs is not the most difficult thing in the world, but also can come with unintended consequences, such as the plug scratching our shiny Macbook.

Tofu Traveller is a product trying to pack multiple plugs into the most compact form possible. It links 3 separate plugs into one detachable unit, allowing the most compact plugs I can carry to cover the needs for most countries.

There are 3 plugs in this set. The first one is UK plug in a foldable form. The second one is EU plug (also foldable). The third one is US plug that can be twisted into AU plug. Not really a rocket science technology, but it makes me feel thankful that this product exists.

The same creators also make a wall charger compatible with the plugs. Since I have more than enough Apple chargers for every occasion, I skip this offering and only got myself the plugs.

Overall build quality feels solid. The frame that connects all the 3 plugs seems to be a bit slim, but not to a point of causing significant concern. I like this plug combo and will bring it with me for international travels.
